Foxhills has a very active golfing programme for children from 3-16 open to members, residents, and the public. Our PGA qualified pros are part of the nationwide Young Masters Golf programme that can introduce your child to golf in a fun and exciting new way.
Young Masters Golf
YMG is a fun and exciting new way for girls and boys to start playing golf. If you're between 6 and 16 years old, you can be part of our YMG programme, and get the best possible start in the great game of golf.
YMG gives you:
- a great introduction to the game of golf
- step-by-step progress from beginner to advanced
- a carefully structured programme
- high interest, excitement, and FUN!
- course folder and worksheets
- fun competitions and games
- competitive tasks and challenges
- certificates and recognition at each stage.

Sports Foundation Scholarship
The Foxhills Golf Foundation was introduced for the first time back in the late 1980s. The hugely successful foundation gives a handful of aspiring junior golfers with promise and determination, the chance to play, practice and be coached at Foxhills. The lucky few to be selected are offered up to six years of free golf at the club along with free lessons and buckets of balls to use at the excellent practice facilities that Foxhills offers.
“Over the years the Golf Foundation has been a phenomenal success. The fact that nine of our graduates are now professionals shows just how beneficial the Foundation can be, provided you are willing to work hard and make the most of the opportunity,” said Marc Hayton, Foxhills' Managing Director.
Former Foxhills foundation graduates testify to the scheme's success. Paul Casey remembers his start as a Golf Foundation student at Foxhills: "I can't thank Foxhills enough for the help they gave me when I was a youngster. It was a marvelous experience and something that did a great deal to help me become the golfer I am today." We look forward to hearing from our new young stars in the coming months and years.
