Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager. The ideal applicant will have recent experience within a rosette restaurant and help deliver the two AA rosettes that we are aspiring to.

The Manor House Assistant Restaurant Manager at Foxhills will assist the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, conferences and private dining and works closely with the Conference Manager and Sales & Events team to ensure every function runs smoothly.

The role reports directly to the Restaurant Manager and is supported by Supervisors, Waiting Staff and Porters on a 5 days out of 7 basis, and is a fully hands on position!

Responsibilities include the training and development of the team; adherence to company and department standards; achieving key performance indicators and increasing the local client base.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager within a top hotel environment
  • Excellent product knowledge
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Service driven
  • Led larger than average teams
  • Able to deliver outstanding customer service

Desirable skills required:

  • Recent experience within a 2 Rosette Restaurant
  • Genuine desire and understanding of the importance of delivering the highest standards at all times

Housekeeping Supervisor

Foxhills, four star hotel and resort near Chertsey is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for our 70 bedroom hotel. You will support the housekeeping team ensuring our superb bedrooms and public areas are pristine and ready to impress every guest on arrival and throughout their stay. You will need to have some prior team leading experience, an eye for detail, high standards of cleanliness, a basic standard of spoken English and be up to the physical demands of the job.

This role is full time on a 5 days out of 7 basis.

Linen Porter

Foxhills in Ottershaw are currently looking for a Linen Porter to help our housekeeping department in servicing our guest bedrooms, healthspa and public areas to the high standard expected by our members, customers and guests.

This role involves stripping the bed’s, sorting the linen ready to send out to laundry and checking and storing clean linen returned on a daily basis. In-house laundry of towels and robes from the bedrooms and healthspa. Checking recording and re-stocking the minibars.

This position is full-time, working 5 days out of 7 covering day shifts. You will need to be strong as it’s a physical and demanding role, previous experience with similar duties would be an advantage.

Hotel Reservationist

We are currently recruiting for a Hotel Reservationist, an enthusiastic sales person to join our Reservations department at Foxhills. The Hotel Reservationist position requires previous experience in a sales team in a similar standard of hotel.

The Hotel Reservations role focuses on maximising revenue for the resort through the management of room rates and bedroom inventory, and all administration of the reservations department. The focus is also to maximise leisure room sales while accurately recording all details and providing all departments with the relevant guest information to ensure the highest level of customer service and ensuring the AA and company standards are adhered to at all times.

Candidates for the Hotel Reservations position must have:

  • Previous sales experience, with a proven record of achieving sales targets.
  • Previous experience within a Reservations Team is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accurate administration.
  • Knowledge of rooms and yield management.
  • Working knowledge of GDS and channel management.

Full Time HealthSpa Receptionist

We are looking for a full time receptionist to join our lively team in our fabulous Health Spa the successful applicant will preferably need to have a Spa reception background with knowledge of computer booking systems and possess strong customer service skills. They will need to be well presented at all times.

Daily duties will include answering the main telephone, greeting members, booking clients in for treatments and looking after the general well-being and motivation of our members.

Shifts range from 6am - 10.30pm working 5 out of 7 days.

This position includes full use of facilities, meals on duty and uniform.

Maintenance Operative

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Operative, to work alongside the maintenance team of 7 full time and 1 part time general maintenance staff, maintaining the complex which includes golf courses and tennis club, 70 bedroom hotel, conference rooms, restaurants, function facilities, healthspa, gym and swimming pools.

  • You will require previous experience in a general maintenance role, within a similar establishment
  • Operational experience and qualifications in either Electrical, Plumbing, Building or Gas would be desirable
  • Knowledge of pool water testing and an L8 qualification is an advantage
  • Work 5 days out of 7 days on a shift basis (will include some weekends and bank holidays)

Hotel Receptionist

We are currently recruiting for a Hotel Receptionist to join our friendly and welcoming team. The Hotel Reception position requires previous experience on a hotel reception desk in a similar standard hotel.

For the Hotel Receptionist position you must have a good customer service background, you will be dealing with customers face to face and on the phone, check- in and check- out of our guests, daily banking and invoicing and taking reservations when needed. The Hotel Reception position will be the first point of contact and so should always make a good impression.

  • Numerate

As a Commis Chef you will have previous experience of food preparation, knowledge of equipment and a good command of culinary basics as well as a passion for delivering high quality food.

We are looking to recruit a Chef de Partie for our superb Golf and Country Club Resort in Surrey. We have an excellent reputation for producing high quality dishes all freshly prepared on the premises and an excellent reputation for weddings and banqueting.

As a Chef de Partie you will have a real passion for food and the dishes you create. You must be hard working, co-operative, creative and passionate about the hospitality industry and also have a desire to progress within your career. With previous experience working in a kitchen that has produced food of an extremely high standard.
