Foxhills’ judokas claimed six medals at the 2016 British Schools Championships held at the English Institute of Sport in April.
One of the toughest competitions on the junior judo calendar, the team beat last year’s tally of three medals, and added a further five ‘top five’ finishes.
Daniel Redgewell claimed golf with his impressive technique and powerful throws. Jonathon Purssey, Head Coach of Core Judo, said: “The level of the players has really improved. I expect many of these players to go on to represent their country in the next three or four years. It is an exciting time and they got their just rewards for their strong work ethic and commitment in training.
