Foxhills Club & Resort celebrate 5th anniversary of flagship family and fitness hub The Pavilion

Foxhills Club & Resort has celebrated the fifth anniversary of its landmark leisure development, The Pavilion, which has become a cornerstone of its family, fitness and wellness offering since opening in May 2021.

Spanning 1,700 square metres and based in the heart of Foxhills, The Pavilion brings together indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness studios, a soft play area, crèche, a children’s games room, and family dining, forming a central hub for activity and wellbeing at the Surrey-based resort. The Pavilion has played a pivotal role in shaping Foxhills’ modern leisure identity, broadening its appeal to families and those looking to actively connect, while reinforcing its position as one of the county’s leading lifestyle destinations.

The anniversary comes during a period of significant growth and continued investment at Foxhills, which has included ongoing enhancements to its gym and spa facilities, alongside the introduction of new racquet sports such as pickleball and padel in 2024, and more recently a £1.5M refurbishment and new food and beverage concept of Lomri and the Manor Lounge and Bar at the Manor House which launched last month.

The Pavilion was launched under the leadership of Georgina Tyson, who joined Foxhills a month before The Pavilion’s launch and has played an integral role in shaping the resort’s leisure strategy. During her time at Foxhills, she was promoted from Head of Leisure to Director of Leisure and Spa in October 2023. Since 2021, Foxhills has now grown to over 6,000 active members with close to 90% of members renewing annually.

Georgina Tyson, Director of Leisure and Spa at Foxhills, said: “The Pavilion has been one of the most rewarding projects of my career. After welcoming hundreds of thousands of members and guests and hosting tens of thousands of activities and classes over the past five years, to see it turn into such a central part of life at Foxhills has been incredibly special. From day one, our focus has been on creating a space where families, members and guests can come together to move, relax and connect.

“Everything we do is about making sure people leave Foxhills feeling better than when they arrived, and The Pavilion plays a huge part in delivering on that promise on a daily basis.”

Set within 440 acres of Surrey countryside just an hour from Central London, Foxhills Club & Resort is home to a 66-bedroom hotel and a wide range of award-winning facilities, including five swimming pools, 9 tennis courts, three padel courts, two pickleball courts, three golf courses, a driving range and short game practice area, three restaurants, and more than 200 weekly fitness classes.
