Meet Lomri: Foxhills' New Dining Destination

Foxhills Club & Resort has officially unveiled its new dining concept at the Manor House with the opening of Lomri, the resort’s new signature restaurant, alongside The Manor Bar, a refined yet characterful social space at the heart of Foxhills.

The launch marks a significant milestone in the wider repositioning of the Manor House, following a substantial investment into the late 18th century building at the centre of the resort. The transformation introduces a versatile destination that feels equally suited to celebrations and relaxed, everyday dining, where thoughtful hospitality and vibrant food elevate both special occasions and simple moments.

Lomri, named after the Indian word for ‘fox’, offers a subtle nod to Foxhills’ heritage and identity. Representing curiosity, intelligence and adaptability, the name reflects the restaurant’s spirit of discovery and its journey across cultures, flavours and traditions.

At the helm is Head Chef Achal Aggarwal, who leads an immersive culinary experience inspired by the historic trade routes that once connected India’s ports to Britain. The menu takes guests on a journey from the flavours of the subcontinent to the heart of Surrey, combining authentic Indian ingredients with Japanese culinary techniques and contemporary British elegance. The result is a menu defined by depth, warmth and layered flavour, balancing tradition with innovation.

Chef Achal brings a wealth of international experience, having trained in Tokyo and New York and held senior roles with The Leela, Hyatt and several Oberoi Hotels. He also played a key role in introducing the renowned Wasabi restaurant to Delhi.

Complementing the restaurant, The Manor Bar has reopened as a lively yet relaxed gathering space, offering an inviting setting for pre-dinner drinks, informal meetings and late evening conversations and celebrations.

Together, Lomri and The Manor Bar represent Foxhills’ continued commitment to creating spaces that foster connection and celebration, blending heritage architecture with contemporary energy, and a sense of calm with moments of surprise.
