With excitement building and plans in full swing for the biggest event Foxhills has ever hosted, we'd like to confirm how the club will operate before and during the event in terms of golf courses, access, facility usage, parking and volunteering opportunities.

Taking place during the school holidays, the International Series England is a perfect family event as we welcome some world-class golfers to Foxhills, as well as lots of fun off-course activities in the fan village. This is your chance to get close to some of the biggest names in golf including Major winner, Graeme McDowell and Ryder Cup and Majesticks co-captain, Ian Poulter, along with Harold Varner III, Branden Grace, Anirban Lahiri where you can watch them navigate our very own Longcross Course which our greenkeeping team will be working hard to get into its best-ever condition. There will also be plenty of bars and food vendors dotted around the estate to allow you to take in the golf in the sunshine.

Golf courses

Golf course preparations are in full swing, with new cutting lines now taking shape. To prepare the Longcross to tour event difficulty, tighter fairways and fast rolling, firm greens are the target. You may see additional roping around greens and selected tees during the year. Increased tee intervals will help out divoting team prepare the fairways and, outside of any functions already booked, the Longcross will move to member-only in July.

The tournament organisers and event crew will be on site from mid-July. 18 TV tower structures will be constructed around the Longcross during the second half of July, alongside two viewing bar/ hospitality areas on course.

The Longcross Couse will then close from midday onwards on Saturday 3rd August.

A fan village will then be constructed in the area between the Bernard Hunt first tee and the 18th green, with the 18th fairway used on tournament days as an additional range area. A temporary green on 18th of Bernard Hunt will be in operation for 7-10 days leading up to the event and up to 7 days post event.

Both championship courses will be closed during tournament days (8th-11th August).

The Bernard Hunt course will be open as normal from Monday 5th to Wednesday 7th August but will be operating a 10th tee start on these three days, with hole 1 and 18 closed.

The Manor Course will also be closed for the week of the event to be used for additional member parking. The driving range will be unavailable to members from Sunday 4th to Monday 12th August.

On Monday 12th August, tee times will be reserved for members and guests only to play the course in professional tournament conditions. Normal booking window and process applies, but please note that the tee sheet will fill very fast as this will be an extremely popular day to play the course.

Reciprocal arrangements
The golf team have also been working hard with industry friends and clubs in the region to offer some complimentary golf away from Foxhills for golf members whilst our Longcross is closed for the week of the event (4th-11th August) and Bernard Hunt for tournament days (8th-11th August). A reminder, Bernard Hunt is open for you to play as normal (members only) from 4th - 7th August.

The following clubs have already offered tee times at some point during the week (5th-11th August):

West Byfleet, Royal Ascot, London Club, Centurion Club, Moor Park, East Berkshire, Roehampton Club, West Hill, Chobham GC, The Grove, Clandon Regis, Sutton Green, Sunningdale Heath, Woburn, Golf at Goodwood, Brocket Hall and our sister club, Farleigh.

We will be accepting requests for these times as per our usual booking window (15 days prior) and by phone call only on a first-come, first-served basis. (e.g. times that have been offered by clubs on 7th August can be booked by calling our pro shop team from 23rd July onwards). Please do not contact any clubs directly, bookings are only taken by speaking to our team. We will be pairing up members to fill the tee times that we have secured.

A reminder, that this would usually be a maintenance week for clubs across the UK, so there may some maintenance work in place. For hire equipment, this can be requested by our team on your behalf, once you have secured a tee time.

Halfway Houses
The Longcross halfway house will be used as a starter hut for the event, alongside providing player drinks and fruit. The Bernard Hunt course and halfway house will be open as normal from Monday 5th to Wednesday 7th August and will close from Thursday 8th until Sunday 11th August.

Changing rooms
With a 156 player field and as with previous tournaments hosted, the tour will have exclusive use of the golf changing rooms (male and female) from Monday 5th-Sunday 11th August. If you are using a member locker the weekend prior to the tournament, please empty contents by Saturday 3rd August at 5pm. Golf members have access to use the spa changing rooms for the week of the event.

Tournament schedule

  • The 72-hole main event begins on Thursday 8th August, concluding on Sunday 11th August.

Parking

Monday 5th - Sunday 11th August

Our aim is that all members, whether watching the golf or using the Country Club facilities, will be able to park on site throughout the event in the guest section of the car park. Overflow parking is also being used during the event on the Manor Course. Please note that the EV charging bays will be unavailable.

Members will need to show your in-date membership card to be allowed entry to the car park at the barrier. For quicker identification, we also recommend that you show a 2024-25 member sticker in your car windscreen, available to collect from the membership office.

Spectators that are not members will be required to 'park and ride' to the event from a couple of nearby locations.

Country Club leisure facilities

Other than parking and access, the country club member experience will be predominantly unaffected. The gym, HealthSpa and Pavilion will remain open for member use for the week of the event, including tennis, padel, pickleball and fitness/activity classes. Pavilion leisure facilities will be available between 6am and 9pm (Sunday 4th-Sunday 11th August), while the spa and gym will be open from 5.30am-9.30pm Mon-Fri (5th-9th) and 7am-7.30pm on the weekend (10th and 11th).

Please note that the Pavilion's indoor pool will be closed during the week for preventative maintenance.

Access for members using the leisure facilities (Pavilion, racquets, spa and gym) will be by the front of the Manor House, through the hotel courtyard, through the archway and out by room 16. Directional signage will be in place.

Members will need to show your in-date membership card to be allowed entry to all leisure facilities, so please ensure you have it with you. Throughout the tournament week (5th-11th August), we will be member and hotel guests only with no leisure guests. We will be running complimentary open days in late August for you to bring guests free of charge.
