PGA Cup 2022: Member volunteers needed

Foxhills PGA Cup

The PGA Cup is returning to Foxhills for a second time this year, with the 2022 competition taking place between the 16th and 18th September.

After successfully holding the prestigious event in 2017, we will become only the second venue in the PGA Cup’s 46-year history to be chosen twice, following the lead of 2006 Ryder Cup host venue, The K Club in Ireland (1992 and 2005).

The PGA Cup is a contest steeped in history between the PGA of Great Britain & Ireland and America. The event is seen as the pinnacle for any PGA professional as both teams go head-to-head in a Ryder Cup format to win The Llandudno International Trophy. This year's tournament at Foxhills will be the 30th meeting of the two teams.

LEARN MORE ABOUT THE EVENT

Get involved, become a member volunteer

We're looking for a team of member volunteers to once again support us and ensure the smooth-running of the event, with everything from scoreboard holders, ball watchers, scorers, range helpers, buggy drivers for players and many more roles that you'd expect from a professional tournament.

Volunteers are needed for the tournament days - Friday 16th to Sunday 18th September. In 2017, the majority of members volunteered to help for a full day although this can be split into AM and PM shifts.

In return, food will be provided and you'll receive branded clothing from the PGA.

If you'd like to get involved, please register your interest by emailing Sean at the button below. Roles will be allocated but if you have a preference on a particular job, please let us know. In your email, please include the particular day you'd like to help on (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or all three) and your clothing size.

If I don't volunteer, can I still watch?

Yes, definitely. The PGA Cup will be a closed event exclusively for Foxhills members and your guests. There won't be large crowds and it will be easy for you to dip in and out of the action. It will be completely free of charge and is a great opportunity to watch some elite level golf at your home club. We're hoping to see as many of you as possible!
