Meet our new head chef of The Fox dining rooms, Achal Aggarwal

As we embark on an exciting journey for The Fox dining rooms, we’d like to introduce our new head chef, Achal, who has recently joined the brigade in the manor house to oversee a transition to an innovative Anglo-Indian concept in the restaurant, coming in early 2026.

In the meantime, you’ll see wonderful Asian dishes befitting the head chef of Chutney Mary and Veeraswamy who trained in Japan and has worked in Michelin-star restaurants across the world including Toyko, New York, Switzerland and Mayfair.

Achal has recently launched his first menu where you can expect sophisticated British cuisine with a modern twist and Asian influence with bold, flavourful dishes including Chicken Yakitori, Asian Braised Lamb Shoulder, Seafood Paella, Black Truffle Ravioli and a range of steaks, including vegan options.

Achal will continue to broaden The Fox menu to find out what you like and will also introduce seasonal dishes and monthly five-course tasting events celebrating foods from around the world, with the first taking place on Thursday 26th June dedicated to Japanese, now available to book online.
