A golden evening for Foxhills and Sean Graham at 59club’s Service Excellence Awards

Foxhills retained its Gold Flag status for the sixth year running at 59club’s Service Excellence Awards as it continues to provide exceptional facilities for golfers to enjoy and the highest level of customer service throughout 2022.

59club, the industry-leading customer service analysts and training provider within global golf, has hosted the annual award ceremony for the past 13 years, developing a reputation as the ‘Oscars’ of the golf & hospitality space.

The awards recognise and reward the finest customer service providers for having achieved the highest standards of excellence across the year. The accolades are determined by scores collected from its impartial mystery shopping audits which evaluate the experience afforded to guests, club members and prospective members in accordance with 59club’s objective benchmarking criteria.

On the night, 38 awards were presented spanning 18 categories, recognising service excellence across all areas of the businesses; sales, service, operations, retail, spa, golf course, food & beverage and management. With 59club continuing to reflect the very best performances - regardless of a venue’s size, scale or profile - by segmenting several individual accolades into three categories, based on a venue’s average green fee rate.

Sean Graham picked up the Golf Manager of the Year award for our green fee category for the second year in a row for his consistent drive to improve the Foxhills golf team's service standards.

The success follows our recent induction into 59club's Eminent Collection of just 12 elite golf venues across the world, signifying the benchmark of excellence within the golf and hospitality landscape. 

Eligibility into the collection is based on accruing points for performance over a minimum of five years and is selected through properties that consistently feature in the 59club Service Excellence Awards.

Out of the 12 properties in 59club’s international network to achieve this prestigious accolade, four were from the UAE, one was from Europe and seven were from the UK.

And we were in excellent company with some of the most iconic golf venues across the world; The Belfry Hotel & Resort; The Celtic Manor Resort; Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club; Emirates Golf Club; Forest of Arden; Gleneagles; Golf Son Muntaner; The Grove; Rockliffe Hall; Trump International Golf Club, Dubai and Yas Links Abu Dhabi.
