We are thrilled to introduce Derrick Johnstone as our new Golf Course and Estate Manager. We eagerly anticipate the fresh ideas and enhancements he will bring to elevate our courses to the utmost level of excellence for our valued members, guests, and visitors.

Derrick developed a love for greenkeeping at age 16 which has led to more than 29 years' experience at some esteemed clubs across the UK. 13 of those were spent at Wentworth Club, preparing the courses for televised tournaments, before moving to East Berkshire Golf Club for the past six years.

Derrick said: "I'm thrilled to be joining the Foxhills team as the Golf Course and Estate Manager. I'm eager to utilise my attention to detail and work with my new team to take the Foxhills courses and estate to new heights. Improving drainage and enhancing playing surfaces for extended playability during winter months are my top priorities. My ultimate goal is to deliver a course and estate of the highest standards that all members, guests and visitors can appreciate and return to.

"Golf has been a passion of mine since my grandfather and father introduced me to the sport at the age of 12. I've played more than 160 different courses around the world, including some of the top 100 courses. I play weekly in an attempt to lower my current handicap of 4.

"When I'm not working, I spend most of my time with my wife and two sons. Although my sons are avid football fans, I'm working on introducing them to golf and look forward to spending time with them on the Manor Course. Don't hesitate to say hello if you see us."

Welcome, Derrick.
